When Big Key Self Storage wanted to redefine the concept of a storage facility, they knew where to turn.

Claro Development's initial assignment was simply to manage the general contractor. But it soon became evident that the most efficient road to completion was to replace some of the on-site management with Claro personnel who could work hand-in-hand with the owner to open the project.

Among the items on Big Key’s "to do" list were: completion of the metal drive-up canopy and all interior spaces, clearing up and closing out all existing construction permits and approvals. And all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems needed to be put back on track for completion and trimmed out.

In the end, the facility opened to the public with great appreciation for the well-lit, music-filled storage areas and friendly customer service. The experience proved that a detailed approach to a client's assignment coupled with on-site collaboration can bring a project to fruition quickly and cost-effectively.
