Claro was engaged to provide Owners Representation and Project Management services. The project began with the entitlement and design development phase of the Iconic Oceanfront Hotel.
The 100M redevelopment transformed the guest rooms, suites, and townhouses into Proper’s first US luxury resort hotel, The Shelborne by Proper includes new restaurants with a flagship seafood dining experience, lobby cafe, expansive lobby bar, intimate cocktail lounge, pool bar, and a visionary ocean view terrace.
All Amenities were updated including the pool deck and the original historic 1950’s swimming pool & diving board. The redevelopment added an exclusive Beach Club.
Claro was awarded the project in 2020 working through various hurdles to receive municipality approvals. During construction, our extensive team was on site daily with the design teams, construction teams and Ownership teams to prioritize and resolve critical issues.
