Claro Corp

Claro Development was brought in by the Standard Miami hotel to serve as the owner's representative and project manage the complete renovation of the property. A 1950's modern piece of architecture created using the original form of the Lido Spa, the hotel had simply outlasted its useful life and location.

So, with the exception of the building structure and front façade, the entire property was gutted and rebuilt. New life safety systems, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems were installed. The lobby was reinvented and a new commercial kitchen was installed.

Claro also managed the upgrade of all 110 guest rooms, complete with new finishes. A world-class spa, treatment rooms, and yoga studio were added to the third floor. Other new amenities include a sculpture garden, fire pits, and swinging chairs. The pool features both an adjacent waterfall and full service bar.

Due to the hotel's location on a residential island, Claro engaged the involvement of the community who warmly welcomed the "new" Standard Miami.
