Project Type: Hospitality
Services: Owner's Representative, Project Management
The Confidante Miami Beach consists of the redevelopment of the historic Crown Hotel on Miami Beach. The project transformed the existing apartment buildings into a hotel along with the associated amenities, back of house, and F&B areas typically associated with the hotel use. The existing single story parking structure at the rear of the site is to be demolished to provide additional site amenity areas at grade level. The existing elevated city boardwalk at the rear of the site is to be removed and replaced at grade per the City design standards. The site amenities will include the addition of 2 pools, outdoor bars, cabanas and potentially a couple of new suites.
The existing apartment units was be gutted and subdivided to accommodate multiple hotel rooms within the existing layout of the individual apartment units. The building MEP & fire building systems are anticipated to be retained and will be modified / augmented to meet the new hotel use requirements. The ground floor and 2nd level will have enhanced amenity spaces including but not limited to a ballroom, flex-spaces, bars / lounge, and restaurants. A spa and fitness center will be developed on the 10th floor incorporating the exterior decks.
The project has an associated parking garage across from the hotel property on Collins Avenue. This structure will be a part of the re-development to provide the required parking for the project.
